Juvenile delinquency has become an urgent concern for sociologists across the globe because it is a significant predictor of possible increase in criminal activity among our growing population. A juvenile person who under age ordinary prosecution, which normally 17 years. The incidence implies that if measures are not taken place, there possibilities situation running out hand. can be considered as social maladjustment on part individuals to some difficult circumstances or conditions. descriptive research design was adopted this study since researcher interested describing salient traits young offenders slum areas Nairobi County and more specifically predictors their behaviour its effects. sample 200 respondents aged 18-45 years generated using simple random sampling. questionnaire distributed amongst respondents. Some questionnaires were virtually Survey Monkey platform, enabled access respond questions smartphones. statistical analysis method used analyse data, subsequently presented table format.
